Share how you’re making a difference in your community

  • Find a unique angle for your story
  • Make a list of whom you want to interview, what shots you need to tell your story
  • Get permission. Some places have rules about filming and taking pictures so make sure you get that figured out before you head out.
  • Bring a release form for any interviews. You can download it here.
  • Assign who will be documenting the event. You’ll want to minimize the number of people documenting so that you won’t have a bunch of volunteers taking pictures instead of volunteering.

  • Gather the 5Ws. Who, What Where, When and Why.
  • Select and organize the best photos, videos and interviews
  • Include any releases from those interviewed
  • Put them all on a shareable link drive
