Your INC Giving Experience

  • Document your day, vlog style, from beginning to end of your experience preparing, attending, and helping with an INC Giving activity. This will be an inside look at your experience and those you can interact with (brethren and guests) to highlight how impactful an activity like this is for everyone in attendance. This will also serve as a platform to inspire other brethren to participate in future INC Giving activities.

    1. Use an external mic
      • If possible, please use an external microphone for better and richer audio.
      • Some mics have the ability to capture sounds more clearly and the feature to cancel unwanted noise in the background. You can try a wireless Lavalier microphone and lapel clip-on, both can record clear audio from all directions and are very easy to use.
    2. Lighting
      • Please use lighting when needed. Natural lighting is great, but if it is not available, LED lights provide high-quality lighting that enhances the visual appearance of your content.
      • They produce professional-looking video clips and have color temperature adjustment settings.
    3. Prepare chargers and external batteries
      • Chargers and external battery packs are important when vlogging using a mobile phone. This is vital, especially when shooting longer events.
    4. Adjust auto-lock settings
      • For an uninterrupted recording experience, make sure to adjust your auto-lock setting. It also helps conserve your battery life.
    5. Use the Rule of Thirds
      • The rule of thirds allows the right placement of subjects. This serves as a guide to properly frame the subject and give space for other elements in the background.
    6. Always film in landscape
      • Filming/Vlogging in landscape orientation is most recommended. It offers a widescreen ratio that makes the content more professional-looking and mobile-friendly, allowing you to capture more elements on your screen.
    7. Frame your shots well
      • Well-framed video clips are visually pleasing and more attractive to viewers. Please make sure your photography framing is well-thought-out.
    8. Set your mobile phone in airplane mode
      • Please set your phone to airplane mode to avoid any interruptions when filming.
      • This also helps you save battery life as your phone doesn’t need to constantly search for signals.
    9. Always record in the highest resolution
      • Setting your mobile phone camera to its highest video resolution helps ensure the best video quality. This setting can capture more details and clarity, allowing you to crop or zoom during post-production.
    10. Footage upload
