Opportunities Are Everywhere.
Get Ready to Find Yours.

Explore the different ways you can spread kindness and be part of the INC Giving Project

There’s not one way to spread kindness. You can do it in groups, by yourself and with your entire congregation. Or you can do all of these things.

The most important thing is to start.

Be Part of the INC Giving Project

Join an INC Giving Activity

Check out the bulletin board in your local congregation or reach out to the Christian Family Organizations in your local congregation to find out when the next INC Giving event is.

Still not sure who to ask, or you’ve never volunteered with the INC GIving Project before? Contact us.

Plan an INC Giving Activity

Yay! Preparing for an INC Giving activity is a rewarding assignment. Regardless of which event you are planning, start early!

  1. Review the project guidelines.
  2. Download the resources and posters.
  3. Prepare your activity request form.

Volunteer in Your Community

How do I volunteer by myself?

Find opportunities in your city and your neighborhood to volunteer. Get started by searching online and then start reaching out to those organizations. You can also sign up for websites that coordinate volunteers. Or join an INC Giving project happening in your area.

Want to create something completely unique? INC Giving volunteers around the world have found ways to help people in their community including offering free rides on skates in Duhat, Quezon Province, shoveling snow  in New York City, and delivering treats to their elderly neighbor in California.

How do we volunteer as a small group?

Want to gather a few friends or your family to do some good? Small group volunteer opportunities can be found all over your community. Organizations are in constant need of regular volunteers to help them daily. You can commit to a few hours per month or you can, go weekly.

It’s also a great way to introduce your friends to the INC Giving Project like Jasmine did in San Diego. Oh, and don’t forget to wear your INC Giving t-shirts.

Finding the Right Opportunity

Visit the guidelines page to find ideas and step-by-step guidelines on how to plan an INC Giving event. Or check out the INC Giving Project on Facebook and Instagram for more inspiration.

Here’s a quick way to get ideas and find opportunities to help:

  1. Open your browser
    1. For solo volunteer opportunities, type in: (volunteer) + (what type of volunteering you want to do) + (Your Location)
    2. For group opportunities, type in: (type of volunteering you want to do) + (Your Location)  + (group volunteer opportunities)

You can also use the phrases “volunteer ideas” or “acts of kindness ideas” instead of “what type of volunteering you want to do” if you’re not sure where to start.
